Can you briefly walk us through your story to becoming the woman you are today...
The woman I am today was made from trial and error as well as grit and stubbornness. I got it wrong many times before I got it right. I think that’s why I appreciate what I have so much. What is the most impactful experience that has shaped who you are today? Lets talk DERMAPLANING! Also called dermablading, microplaning & epiblading. We LOVE this treatment! Its the perfect way to enhance a regular facial so the products applied penetrate deeper, a great way to get rid of the peach fuzz on the face or a great addition to a chemical peel to help get those AMAZING results. Alone it can be done on the day of a big event to help give your skin that super glow!
What are the benefits of Dermaplaning?
Who is a candidate? Pretty much everyone! The only skin condition that can not effectively be treated is acne due to the fact that the outside layer of skin is removed during dermaplaning. This would just aggravate acne. There are other treatments that can be done for acne like using different acids (chemical peels) or killing the bacteria with laser. Once the acne is cleared up, dermaplaning can be done and is an effective treatment in conjunction with at home products to treat acne scarring. At M Spa we proudly offer complimentary skin consultations that include a full analysis of your skin and current at home products. Feel free to book with us and pick our brains about dermaplaning or any other effective treatment we offer. Acne can occur at any age. Amongst the contributing factors are abnormal keratinocyte production, retention keratosis, and rapid sebum secretion that feeds on bacteria. Out of the many skin conditions we help manage here at M Spa, acne is the number one challenge that truly requires a professional partnership to overcome. Without measured guidance and monitoring, acne can be difficult to conquer and manage.
Microblading is a word that is very popular right now. There are misconceptions about what it actually is and who is a good candidate for it.
Microblading is a tattoo. It is a technique that uses a manual tool to implant ink into the skin to simulate hair strokes. In our professional world, it is a technique that is considered by many as ADVANCED and takes time to master. Microblading is only suitable for certain skin types. This is why it is imperative that you be trained in several techniques to give your client the best option for their skin type, lifestyle and overall desired look. |
