Who is a candidate?
Pretty much everyone! The only skin condition that can not effectively be treated is acne due to the fact that the outside layer of skin is removed during dermaplaning. This would just aggravate acne. There are other treatments that can be done for acne like using different acids (chemical peels) or killing the bacteria with laser. Once the acne is cleared up, dermaplaning can be done and is an effective treatment in conjunction with at home products to treat acne scarring.
